The correct service depends on more than pallet count. Density, stackability, collection flexibility, delivery access and the cost of extra handling all affect the final choice.
02LTL / part load
Several pallets to substantial trailer space
Shared or direct routingPart-load space for consignments too large, dense or sensitive for standard groupage but smaller than a full trailer. Non-stackable freight is assessed by the space it occupies.
03FTL
Up to 33 Euro / 26 UK pallets
Dedicated 13.6 m trailerA dedicated trailer for full loads or shipments that need direct routing, fewer handovers and tighter control of collection and delivery timing.
Planning note: Ranges are indicative. Oversized, non-stackable, high-value or fragile cargo may need more vehicle space or a dedicated movement.

Dimensions and stackability
Pallet footprint, height, weight and whether another pallet can be placed above determine the chargeable space.
Road consignment note
The CMR carries the core carriage information and should match the commercial and customs documents.
Customs movement reference
For cross-border jobs, the relevant export, import or transit reference is linked to the correct movement.
Delivery evidence
Signed POD, exceptions and delivery notes are followed through after the final booking.
